ARCHLUTE

Inspired by a Pietro Railich instrument, Venice, c.1644 (Germanisches National Museum, Nuremberg, MI45).

 

Archlute ​with 14 courses, string length: 60cm / 120cm, bowl with 15 corm wood ribs and ebony spacers, neck and long neck with ebony veneer and maple binding, soundboard in spruce with a bovine bone spade and ebony binding, bridge in corm wood with ebony and maple veneer, fingerboard in ebony and maple bindings, pegs in ebony, nut in bovine bone and big nut in holly wood.

Archlute of the "Liuto Attiorbato" type with 14 courses, string length: 59cm / 87cm, bowl with 15 walnut and cypress ribs, soundboard in spruce with rosewood binding, bridge in corm wood and rosewood, fingerboard in rosewood,  neck and long neck in walnut, pegs in ebony.
