ARCHLUTE
Inspired by a Pietro Railich instrument, Venice, c.1644 (Germanisches National Museum, Nuremberg, MI45).
Archlute with 14 courses, string length: 60cm / 120cm, bowl with 15 corm wood ribs and ebony spacers, neck and long neck with ebony veneer and maple binding, soundboard in spruce with a bovine bone spade and ebony binding, bridge in corm wood with ebony and maple veneer, fingerboard in ebony and maple bindings, pegs in ebony, nut in bovine bone and big nut in holly wood.
